At just 15, I jumped into the world of personal training after wrapping up my time as an elite gymnast representing Australia with the AIS. I joined a local fitness club to keep moving, and that's where it all began. Someone suggested I try teaching classes, and I was hooked by the vibrant energy and positivity.  

As I explored every role at the health club, my love for health and fitness only grew, leading me to manage my own personal training business. My journey has taught me how transformative fitness can be, and I'm passionate about helping others reach their goals. 

What fuels my passion for personal training is the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Having gone through the physical, mental, and emotional challenges of elite sports and overcoming my own health hurdles, I truly appreciate the amazing transformation that exercise, mindset, and holistic wellness can bring. I love guiding clients to uncover their true potential, helping them overcome obstacles, and watching their confidence, strength, and overall health flourish. 

I've spent over 20 years in the health and fitness world, blending my journey as an elite gymnast and a 5-time Ms. Fitness Australia with my professional experience. I love teaching group fitness, personal training, exercise rehab, and Pilates. I've had the pleasure of working with all sorts of clients, from professional athletes and corporate execs to those looking for rehab or high-performance coaching. On the academic side, I hold a Bachelor's in Sport and Exercise Management and am currently diving deeper with a Master's in Neuroscience. 

My specialties include high-performance training, exercise rehabilitation, women's health, pre and post natal, and holistic health coaching. I take a science-backed approach combined with mindset and wellness practices, integrating techniques like Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), breathwork, and Pilates to support clients in achieving both physical and mental goals. I also specialise in gut health, hormone balance, and helping individuals overcome burnout, stress, and injury to optimise their overall health and performance.

Favourite exercise 

My favourite exercise is core based Pilates movements. Pilates is incredibly effective for building strength, stability, and mobility while being gentle on the body. It not only enhances physical performance and posture but also improves mind-body connection, which is essential for overall health and longevity.

I love how it challenges the core and smaller stabilizing muscles, helping to prevent injuries and support functional movement in everyday life. Plus, it’s a versatile practice that benefits everyone, from elite athletes to those in rehabilitation.

Favourite piece of equipment

My favourite piece of equipment is the foam roller. It’s a simple yet highly effective tool for improving mobility, releasing muscle tension, and aiding recovery. I love how it helps with myofascial release, improving blood flow and reducing tightness, which is essential for injury prevention and overall performance. It’s versatile, easy to use, and can benefit anyone, from elite athletes to those just starting their fitness journey.

Plus, incorporating it into daily routines can make a significant difference in flexibility, posture, and overall movement quality.

Consistency is key. Focus on building sustainable habits that align with your goals, rather than chasing quick fixes. Small, consistent efforts over time will lead to significant and lasting results.
