Hi, I'm Anjali Rana a mobile personal trainer with Fitness Inside Out in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

I was inspired to become a personal trainer because of my lifelong passion for fitness and my desire to help others lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

My journey began in 2023, during the completion of my undergraduate studies in Exercise and Sports Science, where I gained a deep understanding of the human body and its capabilities. This academic foundation, combined with my personal commitment to fitness, motivated me to start my career as a personal trainer.

My passion for personal training stems from the joy and satisfaction I experience when I see my clients achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being. Helping someone gain confidence, overcome challenges, and lead a healthier lifestyle is incredibly fulfilling.

I have a strong background in exercise science and practical training experience. My journey began with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science. I gained hands-on experience working at local gyms and exercise physiology clinics, where I trained clients to reach various fitness goals, such as improving sports performance, strength and conditioning, losing weight, as well as working with NDIS-funded individuals.

Currently, I am further developing my skills and expertise by completing a Master's in Exercise Physiology, enabling me to provide comprehensive and effective fitness training to clients of all ages and needs.

My favourite exercise 

My favorite exercise is the squat because it works multiple muscle groups at once, including the quads, hamstrings, glutes, and core. Squats are a key movement that helps build strength, stability, and mobility. They’re also incredibly versatile, making them suitable for everyone, from beginners to advanced athletes.

My favourite piece of equipment

I especially like using dumbbells because they are highly effective for targeting specific muscle groups and versatile enough for a wide variety of exercises. Dumbbells are ideal for building strength, boosting endurance, and enhancing coordination. Their adaptability allows me to tailor workouts to individual needs and goals, making them a valuable tool for achieving diverse fitness objectives

My top fitness tip is to prioritise consistency and patience. It's important to make sustainable lifestyle changes, set realistic goals, and stay committed to your fitness journey.
