Hi, I'm Gabriella Marchetti a mobile personal trainer with Fitness Inside Out in Melbourne City and South West Melbourne.
I became a personal trainer in 2008 at the ripe old age of 47. I loved how training made me feel. Weight training changed my body and made me feel strong and confident. Anyone can reap the benefits of exercise. It may be hard to start but after the 2nd week, you’ll start feeling the rewards.
I have always been very active and fell in love with weight training back in 1982. Things have changed since then and now there’s a lot of research around stating how important exercise and weights are for health and turning back the clock with regards to aging. I'm 65 years of age and I lost 25 kg last year through healthy eating and being more active. I want to help my clients regain control over their health and longevity
I am a Registered Nurse. I started nursing in Italy in 1980. I have worked in Saudi Arabia and the UAE as well. I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Exercise Science. I have worked as a personal trainer for nearly 17 years.
I have trained older adults, children, teenagers, pregnant women, men and women, and adults and children with disabilities.

My Favourite Movie or TV Series
Love crime series and thrillers and anything that helps me learn things I didn’t know.
My favourite exercise
Love working legs. Lots of large muscles scl groups and you’re basically training half your body in one session. It’s tiring but energising at the same time. It’s important for older adults, in particular to exercise their legs so these strong muscles will help with balance, pre and post knee and hip surgery and slow down degenerative changes.
My favourite piece of equipment
Leg press. You can really see marked improvement and increased weights used with this exercise.
